Seminar leaders will guide you through the theory behind each topic, giving you both practical tools and theoretical knowledge to take your teaching to the next level.

Seminar 3: Centre work

To explore how students learn and effective teaching practice

To analyse the vocabulary of classical ballet that is taught in centre practice

To highlight how classical ballet vocabulary progresses from the barre to the centre

To develop skills in teaching centre practice

To explore effective communication

To develop skills in the demonstration of enchaînement and the use of voice in delivering a lesson.

BALLET INTENSIVE COURSE
Date: 10 - 12 April 2026

The Royal Ballet School is excited to present a 3-day Ballet Intensive for students aged 7 to 18. This non-selective program is designed to nurture young dancers, develop their technique, and inspire a lifelong love for dance.
During the Intensive, students will experience the Royal Ballet School's distinctive system of training, with a curriculum that includes:
- Daily classical ballet classes
- Repertoire
- Focus classes to hone specific techniques
SMALL GROUP COACHING
For those seeking personalized attention, additional coaching sessions will be available. Spots are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis!
