Registration and Fees

  • Fees for each level of the Ballet Intensive Course from 17 to 19 April 2020 are as follows:

10 - 11 years : S$ 450.00

11 – 12 years : S$ 450.00

13 – 15 years : S$ 490.00

16+ years : S$ 490.00

Fees are stated in Singapore Dollars (S$).

  • Age requirement to participate in the Ballet Intensive Course is as of 31 August 2020.


  • Singapore Dance Alliance (SDA) and/or The Royal Ballet School (RBS) reserve the right to deny any registration at its discretion. 


  • Registrations are processed on a first-come, first-served basis, and are only confirmed upon receipt of payment of fees.


  • Registration for each level of Ballet Intensive Course will close when the maximum capacity has been reached, or by the registration deadline on 31 March 2020, whichever comes first.


  • The number of participants for the Ballet Intensive Course is limited. You will be notified of such maximum capacity at the time of registration and payment, and SDA reserves the right to cancel your registration that are in excess of the maximum capacity, and you will be issued a refund less 5% transaction charge.


  • The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable under any other circumstances.


  • All fees are payable at the time of registration.


  • By making payment for the Ballet Intensive Course, you agree that all details you provided are correct, that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost.


  • Automated email acknowledgement of your registration will be sent on receipt of your registration and payment. Please check your spam email folder should you not receive the acknowledgement emails.


  • Participants must be within the age limit stated in the course information in order to participate in the Ballet Intensive Course. A photo identification is to be presented when reporting for the Ballet Intensive Course on the first day. SDA and RBS reserve the right to reject participants who do not meet the age requirement.


  • SDA and RBS reserve the right to cancel the Ballet Intensive Course up to a month before the date of the event. Full refunds of the course fees less 5% transaction charge will be made in these circumstances.



  • Participants are advised to consider taking out insurance against withdrawal due to injury/illness or requiring medical treatment or hospitalisation; or due to personal or family reasons which might prevent them completing the Ballet Intensive Course. Participants with an existing injury or condition attend the Ballet Intensive Course at their own risk.

Waiver – Physical Contact

  • Physical contact may be necessary by member of the teaching faculty of RBS, and studio assistants of SDA.

Health and Safety

  • Participants agree to indemnify SDA and RBS from any legal action and/or cost resulting from any physical injury, illness, damage and/or mental stress sustained during any activity related to the Ballet Intensive Course. 


  • It is participants’ own accord to ensure that he/she is physically fit to attend the Ballet Intensive Course. 


  • SDA and RBS reserve the right to temporarily remove any participant experiencing physical or emotional stress, discomfort or injury from the Ballet Intensive Course until they are deemed fit to participate. 

Course Content

  • RBS and SDA reserve the right to alter the advertised course and faculty without prior notice. Where possible, alterations will be published on the SDA website.


  • Participants are to report at least 30 minutes before each Ballet Intensive Course. 


  • Latecomers will only be allowed into the Ballet Intensive Course at suitable intervals. 


  • Participants are to be appropriately attired for the Ballet Intensive Course. 


  • Dress code: 

    • Girls: Single-coloured sleeveless leotard, pink tights, pink soft shoes

    • Boys: Single-coloured fitted singlet, black or white footed tights, black or white soft shoes 


  • Participants who do not adhere to the dress code set out will not be allowed into the Ballet Intensive Course.

Personal Property

  • SDA and RBS cannot be held responsible for any personal property.



  • Participants should not use or move any of the equipment in the studio unless authorised to do so.


  • Only water bottles may be taken in to the studios.


Photography and Recordings

  • Photography, filming and sound recordings are strictly forbidden by all participants and parents / legal guardians of participants.


  • SDA and RBS reserve the right for the Organisation and School, or third parties to carry out general photography, filming and sound recording at any time during the Ballet Intensive Course. This includes, but is not limited to, all levels of the Ballet Intensive Course and other activities at the event venue. 


  • SDA and RBS own the right to all photographs, videos and sound recordings taken throughout the course of the event. 


  • By registering for the Ballet Intensive Course, participants, or participants’ parents / legal guardians, give their permission for SDA and RBS, and/or SDA’s and RBS’ authorized third parties to use such photographs, videos and sound recordings for promotional and commercial purposes without any payment.


  • SDA and RBS reserve the right to make amendments to the Terms and Conditions without prior notice.


  • Failure to comply with the above terms and conditions will lead to disqualification from the Ballet Intensive Course, no refund will be issued.


  • Registration constitutes acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.
